The MBCBrasil Institute is an independent, multi-stakeholder and non-profit organization dedicated to accelerating the decarbonization of mobility in Brazil through technically grounded, economically viable and socially responsible solutions.

This presentation outlines the Institute’s mission, strategic priorities and core principles, highlighting Brazil’s unique conditions to advance a low-carbon transport transition. With a highly renewable energy matrix and a strong agro-industrial and automotive base, the country is well positioned to scale sustainable mobility solutions.

The Institute promotes a technology-neutral approach, recognizing the complementary role of multiple pathways, including biofuels, electrification and efficiency gains. It also reinforces the importance of Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) to ensure accurate and comparable emissions assessment across the full value chain.
